For Parents / Caregivers Especially designed for the first-time parent this course focuses on the first three months of basic newborn care.

Topics include:

-	Coming home with baby	-	The 'high-need' baby
-	Feelings and uncertainties	-	'Wearing' your baby
-	Postpartum adjustment	-	Immunisations
-	Common infant disorders and illnesses	-	Breast and bottle
-	Colic	-	Nutrition ... and more!
-	Why babies cry

Facilitator:
Classes are led by Francine Lüthi-Martin, who reaches into her years of experience and work with the newborn and new parents. In a 'hands-on' situation as a midwife and lactation consultant, Francine is also in touch with up-to-date information and research. She looks forward to supporting you in your new role.

Format:
Classes are presented in two (2) three-hour sessions. Participation is limited to six couples.
