Parenting with Love and Logic For parents of children ages 6 – 12 years Language: English

Fun and practical, these workshops focus on understanding our own interactional style with our children as the first step in determining what we might change to make our homes supportive, educational and nurturing havens for our children. We'll learn how to raise happy, responsible kids, who have the skills and the will to make and carry out smart choices all on their own.

Workshop Instructor: Dr Kirsten Lavallee
Dr Lavallee is an American Nationally Certified School Psychologist. She has worked with children with behavioral and emotional difficulties, cognitive delays and autism both as a behavioral consultant to families and schools and as a psychologist in public school settings in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. She holds a PhD in Developmental Psychology, has conducted research on children's friendships, and has taught Psychology courses at The Pennsylvania State University. She currently conducts psycho-educational evaluations and provides behavioural and academic consultation for English-speaking children and their families at the Zentrum für Entwicklungs- und Persönlichkeitsdiagnostik (Centre for Developmental and Personality Diagnostics) at the University of Basel.
